We are using a platform called Givebutter, available to nonprofit organizations, to help us process your Membership dues.

Note that tips are not tax deductible. In addition, fees for use of your credit card will be automatically included unless you edit this. We hope you consider covering the credit card fees to allow full membership donation to be given to the Havurah for your benefit.
What is a Havurah? "Havurah" is the Hebrew word for fellowship, and its root, "haver," means friend.

We are open to all interested in Judaism, regardless of age, religion, sexuality, or marital status. We are a warm, welcoming, and diverse group who gather to enjoy Jewish life together.
We do an in-person Havdalah (a Jewish ceremony that marks the end of Shabbat and the start of the new week) once a month, held in various homes and followed by a social time together, sharing food. We have many other events such as Speaker Series, Book Club and the celebration of various Jewish holidays together. ​
Membership dues and contributions to Havurah of the Desert are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. When you use our platform, Givebutter, you will see this as a charge on your credit card with this name. In addition, when you are making your online donation, please note that we have included processing fees in your payment. You do have the option to change this to have the Havurah pay this but we are hoping you will cover these fees.
